About Stacy Marie Diliberto

About my approach (style) to therapy…

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker whose goal is to provide a positive, warm, and non-judgmental approach, while exploring and learning more about your personality, thought processes, strengths, and unique life experiences. I believe compassion, empathy, and understanding, along with a little bit of humor, are critical to the counseling process. I use an eclectic mix of therapeutic approaches tailored specifically for you, and together, we can work to understand your current life situation, develop goals that are manageable, and find a resolution.

Background and Training:

My education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans.

I have over 13 years experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults who come from diverse backgrounds, with a variety of different life circumstances.

About my work (Ideal clients):

I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are dealing with relationship/boundary issues, grief, self-esteem issues, substance abuse, LGBTQIA+ issues, PTSD, stress, anger, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and mood disorder issues.

A Little About Me…

I’m a NOLA girl, who enjoys going to the dog park with my pup Marley. I also love music, road trips, museums, painting, cooking, being outside in nature, and of course, spending time with family and friends.
