About My Approach (Style) to Therapy…
My approach to therapy focuses on meeting you where you are and creating a safe, supportive space for growth and self-discovery. I believe everyone has the capacity to change, but sometimes we need guidance to uncover our inner strength and navigate the path forward.
Using techniques tailored to your unique needs, I help you explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors without judgment. Together, we’ll work to identify unhealthy patterns, develop practical tools, and challenge limiting beliefs that may be holding you back.
About My Background and Training…
I am a licensed clinical social worker based in Connecticut, with over 14 years of experience in both nonprofit and for-profit healthcare settings. I hold a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Central Connecticut State University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Connecticut.
My passion lies in helping individuals identify and understand patterns that may be limiting their potential or standing in the way of their goals. Together, we can explore the root causes of challenges, develop practical tools, and build self-awareness to foster meaningful and lasting change.
I believe growth happens through collaboration and tailor each session to your unique needs, values, and preferences. My goal is to help you gain self-awareness, build effective coping skills, and uncover your strengths, empowering you to overcome obstacles and achieve personal growth. I am here to support you every step of the way as you work toward a more balanced, purposeful, and fulfilling life.
About My Work (Ideal Clients)…
I am dedicated to supporting individuals, including young adults, adults, seniors, and those currently serving or who have served in the military. I deeply value the opportunity to work with diverse populations and am committed to understanding and addressing their unique needs.
My approach is grounded in respect for each person’s experiences, fostering growth, healing, and connection through personalized care. I specialize in working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, or significant life stressors—those who may feel disconnected, burdened by negative thoughts, or searching for a renewed sense of purpose.
With a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, I help clients build resilience, enhance coping skills, and cultivate inner peace. Together, we will work toward relieving emotional struggles, uncovering your strengths, and developing a clear path forward with confidence and purpose.
About Me (Personal Interests)…
Since 2010, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including school-aged children, adolescents, adults, seniors, and military service members.
Seeking help can often feel overwhelming, and my goal is to make the journey easier and more supportive. If you’re ready to take the first step toward healing and growth, I’m here to support you. Together, we can determine if we’re the right fit to help you achieve your goals and live a more fulfilling life.
