Personal Interests
I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my family, including three beautiful step-children and our super lovable and playful golden retriever, Laney Loo.
“Change can be really scary in the beginning, messy in the middle, but if you hang in there, it can truly be beautiful in the end” – Brene Brown. This quote most accurately depicts my therapeutic practice and philosophy. It is scary to take the unknown leap, but my goal is to support my clients through those messy and scary unknowns, guiding them towards the beauty of it all. My goal is to collaborate with individuals, couples, and families to build rapport, gain trust, and meet clients where they are at, supporting them through building skills to meet realistic goals and improve overall well-being. I focus on creating a safe space for clients to work through their difficulties, feeling supported. I believe it is important to offer a non-judgmental, empathetic, and authentic space while at the same time challenging clients with a healthy balance of work and fun to heal.
