About My Approach (Style) to Therapy…
I take a holistic, client-centered approach to therapy, focusing on the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. I believe in building a collaborative partnership with my clients, using evidence-based techniques such as motivational interviewing and psychotherapeutic interventions to help you explore your concerns and achieve lasting change. My therapy style integrates mindfulness, yoga, and other complementary modalities alongside medication options, empowering you to develop a healthier, stronger relationship with yourself and your mental well-being. Together, we will create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals.
About My Background and Training…
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I have received extensive training in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions. My education and clinical experience have equipped me with the skills to address complex psychiatric issues, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, psychosis, and substance use disorders. I am well-versed in both inpatient and outpatient treatment, including detox, maintenance, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). My training emphasizes a comprehensive, compassionate approach to mental health care, ensuring that I address all aspects of your well-being.
About My Work (Ideal Clients)…
I work with individuals across the lifespan, treating a variety of psychiatric conditions such as depression, generalized anxiety, panic disorders, bipolar disorder, complex trauma, and psychotic disorders. I also specialize in the treatment of substance use disorders, providing both inpatient and outpatient detox and ongoing maintenance support. My ideal clients are those who are ready to take an active role in their recovery and mental health journey. Together, we will collaborate on a treatment plan that combines therapy, medication, and lifestyle changes to help you achieve your best health.
About Me (Personal Interests)…
In addition to my clinical work, I am passionate about mindfulness, yoga, and holistic wellness practices. I believe in the power of these practices to support mental health and overall well-being. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring nature, practicing yoga, and staying curious about new ways to nurture both physical and mental health. My personal commitment to self-care helps me bring a balanced, empathetic perspective to my work, and I am dedicated to helping others cultivate a meaningful connection to their own well-being.
