About My Approach (Style) to Therapy…

If you are struggling with trauma, problematic sexual behaviors, sexual shame, or identity concerns, you are not alone. You deserve a safe and nonjudgmental space to heal from trauma, break unhealthy patterns, and create your healthiest and most authentic life.

About My Background and Training…

Therapy with me is a collaborative and compassionate process where you don’t have to have it all figured out, just the willingness to show up and do the work. I specialize in working with individuals and couples navigating trauma, sexual shame, intimacy concerns, and problematic sexual behaviors. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to break free from old patterns. Together, we will work to uncover what is getting in the way, identify what matters most to you, and build the tools and skills to create lasting change.

I take a direct and solution-focused approach, while also valuing the importance of processing and reflection. My style is grounded in honesty, empathy, and a little bit of humor when it fits. I am trained in evidence-based and body-based modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and somatic and mindfulness-based interventions. These approaches support healing on both a cognitive and nervous system level, helping you feel more connected to yourself, your body, and your life.

About My Work (Ideal Clients)…

You deserve a therapist who sees and affirms you fully. I am LGBTQ+, gender, and kink affirming, and I work from a trauma-informed, sex-positive, and identity-affirming lens. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and walks of life and am committed to creating a safe, respectful space where you can explore your concerns with curiosity and courage. Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you, it is about supporting you in doing the deep, meaningful work that leads to self-trust, clarity, and a more authentic and fulfilling life.

If you are ready to begin, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

About Me (Personal Interests)…

I love spending time with my family and my cat, Sox. Staying active is important to me, so I enjoy going to the gym and taking daily walks. I also practice meditation and yoga to help maintain balance in my life. As a life- long learner, I’m always reading new books and engaging in continuing education courses to expand my knowledge.
