About my background and training…
I obtained my MSW degree in 2021 from the University of Saint Joseph in West, Hartford, CT and have been in private practice for the past 4 years. Additionally, I have worked in multiple agencies, in inpatient acute care settings, and have conducted both family and group therapy for the last 4 years for part-time work. I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, adults, couples, family units, and group-based therapy settings such as facilitating PHP (Partial-Hospitalization Programs) and IOP (Intensive Outpatient Programs). Specific extensive training I have completed includes CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), FBT (Family-Based Therapy), and ASAM (substance use and addiction training).
