Gabriela Rowinsky, LCSW
About my approach (style) to therapy…
My therapeutic approach is tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs. I draw from evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy. I also incorporate Motivational Interviewing and Humanistic principles to foster personal growth. Emphasizing the interconnectedness of mind and body, I work with clients to explore this connection as part of achieving mental wellness.
About my background and training…
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in the field. I hold a master’s degree from Adelphi University and am licensed in both Florida and Michigan. My extensive training and background equip me with the skills to provide compassionate and effective care to my clients.
About my work (ideal clients)…
I specialize in supporting adults (18+) who are facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, anger, ADD/ADHD, trauma, identity and relationship issues, grief, loss, and life transitions. My goal-oriented approach focuses on helping clients set and achieve meaningful objectives, guiding them towards creating the life they desire.
About me (personal interests)…
Outside of therapy, I enjoy lifting weights, exploring the great outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and trying out new restaurants. I am also a passionate traveler and music enthusiast. My loyal companion, Gino the Italian Greyhound, often accompanies me on my adventures and adds a touch of joy to my life.
