About My Approach…
In Health & Wellness Coaching, we tackle anything that impacts your health and happiness in a safe, judgment-free space. Think of it as the intersection of your mental health and physical health. My mission is to help you get unstuck and move into action with small steps that lead to long-term sustainable healthy habits that you can take with you for the rest of your life. We will co-create a long-term plan and I will help you stick to the action steps required to get there. Can we cover nutrition and exercise? Yes, among several other areas, as long as these are your goals. But this is much more than that. This goes deeper. It’s about finding more motivation and keeping the momentum going for the long haul. While food changes your health dramatically, we look at your wellness holistically. This means we can also explore sleep, time management, physical movement, self-care, home environment, healthy relationships, what brings you joy, and even education or career. Why? Because it’s all connected! When one thing improves, the other areas tend to start improving as well. I will help you explore, discover and stay accountable to all the goals you set for yourself, minus any judgment.
About My Background and Training…
I took my first psychology class in high school and fell in love with it. From there I earned an Interdisciplinary Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communicative Disorders from Utah State University. My first job after college involved working with adults with intellectual disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome and Autism. After a few years of working closely with these amazing individuals, the “AHA” moment came. It was the small daily habits that lead to thriving or to dis-ease. I became an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and then became a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. As an NBC-HWC, I am trained in behavior change theories, motivational strategies, and health education and promotion theories. I adhere to the highest standards in the coaching industry. I use these skills and standards to support clients in creating and sustaining change for improved health, well-being and self-awareness.
About My Work…
I have worked with everyone from young adults just starting out and learning to balance college or new careers with their self-care needs, to folks in the baby boomer generation who are struggling to improve their health and want a better quality of life. If you happen to be a mom or single mom, you have a special place in my heart; I would say that I have also earned the “degree” of Surviving Single Motherhood. I’ve also had to learn to manage an auto-immune disease and ADD with everything else life throws at me. So if you have ADD/ADHD or an autoimmune disease and you have a desire to boost your health and wellness, I know how difficult it can be, and I will offer you a safe and judgment -free zone to grow into the healthiest version of you, one small step at a time. And since I’ve worked with many types of disabilities, if you happen to be neurodivergent, I’ve got you.

About Me…
I love deep diving into all things wellness. Some areas I’ve explored are biofeedback, acupuncture, breathwork, yoga, meditation and pilates. Things on my bucket list are to travel and learn about history, architecture and culture, star in a musical, learn how to garden and ride a horse on a beach. You’ll often find me with my tween, teen, husband, special needs dog, Carl Orion, and two cats, Nova Soleil and Leo Jupiter just hanging out at home cracking jokes. I love to get outdoors whenever possible and go on gentle hikes to the shoreline or a waterfall. I’m a nature lover and respect folks from all walks of life. Every one of us has something to offer; it is when we are the best version of ourselves that we are able to fulfill our potential. It is my mission to improve the health and wellness of our society, one person at a time. I believe in you.
